From the subway (T): If you are coming by subway, or "T", take the Red Line to the Davis Square Station. Exit the Davis Square Station on the Holland Street side. Upon exiting the subway station take a left onto Holland Street. The TAB building is approximately one-half mile down the road on the right. Look for the blue sign that says Tufts Administration Building.
From the northwest: If you are approaching on Route 2 East, continue on Route 2, past the junction of Routes 2 and 95. If you are approaching on Route 3, take Route 95 south to Route 2 east (Exit 29A). At the junction of Routes 2 and 16, bear left through a full traffic light on Route 16 east. Take Route 16 east through 1 full traffic light. Take a right at the second set up the hill onto Broadway. When the road forks in Teele Square, bear right. The TAB building will be one-quarter mile down the road on the left.
From the south: If you are coming from the south, take Route 3 north to Route 93 north. If coming from Boston, take Route 93 north. If coming from the airport, follow signs to Route 93 via the Sumner Tunnel. Take Route 93 north to Exit 31. Follow the exit ramp to Route 16 west. Continue on Route 16 for approximately one and a quarter miles. An athletic field will appear on your right. Bear left through the next traffic circle and proceed up the hill on Powder House Boulevard. You now have to take a right on Packard; then a left on to Broadway. Once past the Powder House school, look for Simpson Avenue on the right. Take a right on Simpson. Take a right at the stop sign onto Holland Street. The TAB building is approximately one-quarter mile down the road on the right.
From the north: If you are approaching on Routes 1, 95, 128 or 93, take Route 93 south to Exit 32, Medford Square. From the exit ramp, take the first right off the traffic circle, which is Route 60 west. At the second set of lights, bear left on Main Street and take an immediate right on to Route 16 west. Continue on Route 16 for approximately one and a quarter miles. An athletic field will appear on your right. Bear left through the next traffic circle and proceed up the hill on Powder House Boulevard. You now have to take a right on Packard; then a left on to Broadway. Once past the Powder House school, look for Simpson Avenue on the right. Take a right on Simpson. Take a right at the stop sign onto Holland Street. The TAB building is approximately one-quarter mile down the road on the right.
Directions from the Entrance to the Training Lab: Enter the TAB Building at 169 Holland St. through the entrance on the left side of the building if you are looking at it from Holland Street. Go up a short flight of stairs and take an immediate right into the Cafeteria. Once in the cafetaria, enter the training lab located behind the cash register.
Parking: If you must drive, please be advised that there is very little, if any, parking available around the TAB building. There are one or two metered spots next to the building that are usually filled by 9 am. The onstreet parking is monitored by the city of Somerville and is limited to two hours. The Red Line Davis Square stop is less than a ten minute walk.
